Use Your University Transit Pass (or pay regular fare) to go to the mall, a movie, a job, the park and more! Below are just a few of the places you can go on the KAT system. Click on any of the Route Names below to view the schedule & map for that route on the regular KAT site. Clicking on store names with links will take you to their website.
Bearden Shopping - There's lots of great shopping in Bearden. Catch Route 11 - Kingston Pk. and check out some great spots like Urban Living, River Sports Outfitters, McKay's Used Books, CD's, and More, The Shops at Homberg Place, Starbucks, Java, Serendippity and Jallapalooza, and even Parker Brothers Hardware. They're all in Bearden along Kingston Pike. The Disc Exchange - Take Route 44 - College Park to the Disc Exchange on Chapman Hwy. Be sure and tell the operator that's where you want to go. Target - Discount shopping at its most stylish. Catch Route 11A - Kingston Pk. for the West Target, catch Route 22 - Broadway for the North Target Walmart - Everything you need, and then some. Route 11A - Kingston Pk. goes to the West Wal Mart, Route 41 - Chapman Hwy goes to the South Wal Mart, and Route 90A - Crosstown goes to the East Wal Mart. So many Wal Marts...so little time.		West Town Mall - Route 11: Kingston Pike (Weekdays & Saturdays), and Sunday Rider-West both run along Cumberland Ave. and take you straight to the doors of the mall. Weekdays: You can catch the bus on Cumberland at :22 and :52 after each hour. Buses back to UT leave the mall, at :05 and :35 after the hour. After 6:35, buses run at :15 and :45 after the hour back to Cumberland until midnight Saturdays: Route 11 runs by Cumberland at :07 after the hour and return to UT at :40 after the hour. Sundays: The Sunday Rider begins at 10:15 and comes by at :20 and :50 after the hour. At the mall, return trips come by at :15 and :45 after the hour until 6:25 p.m. Cherokee Park - Route 10: Cherokee Blvd. runs weekdays and Saturdays along Cumberland Ave. at :20 after each hour, arriving along the boulevard, and Cherokee Park about 10 minutes after that. Buses back to UT come by the park at :55 after the hour, with the last one coming by at 5:55 p.m. Lakeshore Park - two miles of beautiful greenway overlooking the Smoky Mountains and the Tennessee River. Catch 90B - Crosstown at the shelter at Cumberland Ave. and 16th St. Catch the 90A - Crosstown back.
