KAT Fares and Pass Options
The T service is free with valid UT I.D.
Semester passes are now good for 140 days from first use, rather than from the first day of the semester to the end of the semester.
Many other KAT routes run to or through the campus area, and there are a variety of pass options available. You can purchase one-ride passes, one-day or seven-day passes, or a 30-day pass, but if you plan to ride regular KAT routes on any regular basis, the best deal is a UT semester pass.
With a UT I.D., you can purchase a semester pass for the same cost as a regular 30-day pass ($50) and get unlimited rides on any regular KAT route throughout the entire semester.
NOTE: UT semester passes are not valid on Express routes.
UT semester passes may be purchased at the UT Central Ticket Office, or at Knoxville Station, KAT's new transit center, which is located downtown at 301 Church Avenue.
