The T is the University of Tennessee's transportation system, operated by Knoxville Area Transit (KAT).
UT Students and faculty ride free on all T services, with a UT I.D.

The T is currently operating on a break schedule; ONLY the T:Access and T:Link services operate during break schedules.
Summer semester begins Thursday, May 31; effective that day, in addition to the T: Access and T: Link service, the T: East-West will also resume service, operating every 15 minutes from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.

PROPOSED CHANGES FOR FALL 2012: The Knoxville Transportation Authority will be voting on some proposed changes for the T that would take effect in Fall 2012. The vote will take place at their regular monthly meeting, Thursday, May 24 at 3 p.m. in the Main Assembly Room of the City County building. MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY: On Monday, May 28, there will be NO T service and NO Trolley service due to the Memorial Day holiday. Regular KAT buses will operate on a Saturday schedule. Regular KAT service and Trolley service will resume on Tuesday, May 29.

Please note that the T: East-West and North-South services are on detour routing due to construction around the University Center. The map to right shows the detour routing, but please note that this routing is subject to further detours as construction progresses.
